About Garret Hoff
Garret is a multi-instrumentalist and music teacher who teaches guitar, piano, and drums. He brings a wide range of musical experience, including performing in bands, playing percussion at a high level in marching band, and working with electronic music and composition. His teaching is grounded in a strong understanding of music fundamentals and how they support long-term musical growth.
Garret takes a student-centered approach to teaching, paying close attention to each student’s interests, motivation, and goals. He helps students build a solid foundation in reading music and understanding chords, develop their musical ear, and express themselves through creativity and songwriting. His goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lifelong relationship with music.
