About Emily Whitcomb
The daughter of a luthier and a seasoned music lesson check-writer, Emily started her musical journey at the age of four when she got her first violin. She added French horn and guitar to the mix as she progressed in a variety of music ensembles as well as solo singer/songwriter endeavors. She studied music and psychology at Winona State and has applied much of what she learned there to help individualize music lessons for her various students. In addition to her love of music, Emily enjoys theatre, volunteering, dancing, reading and cuddling with her pet rabbit named Ren.
