About Chandler Carpenter
Chandler Carpenter is a guitarist, composer, and educator based in northern New Jersey. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he built a strong musical foundation performing throughout the Great Lakes region with a variety of jazz ensembles, pop/rock bands, and pit orchestras. In 2024, he relocated to New Jersey, where he is quickly establishing himself as a rising talent on the local and New York City music scenes. Mr. Carpenter is an active composer for both large and small jazz ensembles, including his own group, The Chandler Carpenter Quartet. His compositional work also spans classical formats, with pieces written for orchestra, flute trio, string quartet, and guitar ensemble. He holds a Master of Music degree from Youngstown State University and a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Akron.
