SAMW 20th Anniversary Celebration Alumni Concert -3/7/15

On Saturday, March 7, 2015 we will be hosting a very special event!  SAMW is celebrating 20 years of musical education vacation, collaboration and performance memories.  And our own Tom Irving will host this celebration featuring performances by SAMW alumnus.  What is SAMW?  It’s WUMB’s “Summer Acoustic Music Week” It’s a retreat and renewal and a summer music vacation. But most of all, it’s a chance to work on and play your music with some of the best folk musicians and teachers in the country.  Visit SAMW.org

“Tom here, and in honor of SAMW’s (Summer Acoustic Music Week) 20th Anniversary this year, we will be hosting a very special night at Rick’s Music World, RT44, Raynham, MA! it will be an evening concert with all SAMW alum playing in open mic fashion. spots will be assigned in advance, so if you are interested in playing, please let me know ASAP. the details are…. Saturday 3/7/15, doors at 6, music at 6:30, $5.00, and depending on response 2-3 songs each. $2.00 of every ticket is going to Rick’s Music World Scholarship Fund in honor or WUMB. the cafe will be open for meals, treats, and drinks.
