About Ryan Glick
Ryan Glick is one of known drummers/ musicians around the Bay Area. He has been drumming for 25 years and teaching for 15 years. He started playing with his dad at 5 and has grown in his musical journey. In middle school he has won best musicianship award at the LMC jazz festival 2007, and at Reno jazz festival in 2010. In high school he was part of the Pittsburg High school marching show band and played the Gatorbowl, Fiesta bowl and London New Year’s Day parade. He also studied at Berklee college of music in Boston, 2014 2015 learning music therapy, Film scoring and percussion. After Berklee he has continue and also studied with David Garibaldi, Glen Sobel, David Elitch, Thomas Moran, Jeff Campitelli, and Mike Johnston. And started playing with bands like Almost Dead and went on two European tours with Batushka, Belfagor on the black ritual tour in 2021 after Recording brutal odd slot album that was released in April 2021 first heavy metal album with Almost Dead. Then in 2024 Ryan recorded destruction is all we know album with Almost Dead his second heavy-metal album with Almost Dead and toured with Cryptopsy and Atheist on the unquestionable blasphemy tour all over Europe for the 2ed time! In 2022 he played with Buttah jook joint show at his favorite venue in the bay Yoshi’s Oakland Than in 2023 he has opened with Jose Canchola at country summer music festival in Santa Rosa for Lynyrd Skynyrd Also in Feb 2025 Ryan has performed in Zhuhai China with artist name brooks Lundy for the red note music village concert in Zhuhai China! When he is off tour, he is teaching all over the bay area and at his home studio and also playing festivals and shows around the Bay Area and the country.
Ryan specialize all genres of music from, jazz, rock, metal, Latin , Brazilian , Afro Cuban , country, blues, reggae, Gospel, worship, and many more styles of music.
