About Helen Jung
Helen Jung is a piano teacher at Reeder Music Academy and also serves as the Artistic Director and piano instructor at her own Jung Piano Studio. Additionally, she works as a Program Evaluator at the Music Teachers’ Association of California and is a member of the Music Teachers National Association. She received her Master of Music from the Kassel Music Academy in Germany, where she learned from renowned pianists and pedagogues such as Prof. Ilja Scheps, Prof. Nikolai Posnjakow, Prof. Walter Blankenheim, and Prof. Grigory Gruzman.
Helen has extensive experience teaching young pianists using both traditional and Suzuki methods. Her students have won top prizes at international, national, and state-level piano competitions. She also has experience working as an adjudicator for the ABRSM certification and the California Certificate of Merit Program.
As a performer, Helen specializes in Baroque and Classical music. In addition to her love for teaching classical music, she also runs a high-end recording facility that provides audio recording, mixing, and mastering services for her students and others.
