Production Company Dance Centre’s Competitive Team is designed for dedicated dancers who are ready to expand their training, challenge themselves artistically, and experience the excitement of performing and competing throughout the season.
Our Competitive Team dancers train in a supportive, encouraging environment while developing strong technical skills, performance quality, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Throughout the year, dancers learn and rehearse routines that are showcased at regional competitions, community performances, and special events.
We believe in promoting a positive and inclusive culture that fosters growth and excellence in our dancers. We are dedicated to creating a dance program that values honesty, compassion, integrity, and respect above all else. We believe that by instilling these core values in our dancers, we can help them become not only exceptional dancers, but also outstanding individuals who will make a positive impact on the world.
Competitive Team Dancers:
- Train in multiple dance styles throughout the season
- Learn and perform competitive routines
- Attend regional dance competitions in the Denver metropolitan area
- Participate in our annual all-team production number
- Perform at select community events alongside our Performance Company
- Build lasting friendships and memories through team experiences
Convention Experience
Competitive Team dancers also attend a dance convention each season. Conventions provide a unique opportunity to spend an entire weekend training with industry professionals, renowned choreographers, and working dancers from across the country. Dancers participate in master classes, gain valuable performance experience, and leave inspired by some of the best talent in the dance industry.
Additional Performance Opportunities
For dancers looking to further their training and performance experience, opportunities may be available for solos, duos, trios, and additional small group and specialty routines.
These opportunities are based on dancer readiness, commitment level, and program needs.

Competitive Team families enjoy exclusive team programming, performance opportunities, team-building experiences, and special discounts available only to competitive dancers.
Auditions for the Competitive Team are held annually in May or June for the upcoming dance season.
Participation in the Competitive Team requires an audition and placement by our faculty. We strive to create an environment where every dancer is challenged, supported, and placed in a setting where they can be successful.
