About Dylan Nguyen
Dylan Nguyen is a 17-year-old musician who started learning piano at age five. He has participated in numerous local and national competitions. One competition Dylan has garnered multiple first-place prizes in is the United States Open Music Competition (USOMC), where he was also offered a chance to attend a masterclass with Ruth Slenczynska.
Additionally, Dylan has received honorable mention and special prize at the Zeiter Piano Competition, second alternate at the MTAC Solo Competition and the MTAC Concerto Competition, third place at the Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition, first place in the Bach category at United States International Music Competition, and first place at the Encore Competition. Outside of piano, he plays the viola at the San Jose Youth Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra.
Dylan loves teaching others and strives to promote a healthy learning environment for all.
