About Amy Lufei
Amy is an enthusiastic junior high school student in San Jose that started her journey of learning piano at the age of six. She has competed in numerous local and regional competitions, winning a variety of different awards. After close to ten years of playing piano, she has honed her skills and technique through dedicated training and performances.
In addition to her musical background, Amy has plenty of experience in teaching and working with children of different age groups in both academic and extracurricular settings, including piano. She strives to achieve a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and eager to connect deeper with music.
As a student teacher, Amy focuses on building a strong foundation for students, allowing a broader range and understanding of the music. Lessons are personalized around students, passion, and goals to build skill and confidence in playing. She is dedicated to helping each individual student maximize in their growth and learning to become a better pianist, whilst fostering an appreciation for music.
