PPS Foundation

The Pacific Piano School Foundation lends support and financial assistance to students in the San Jose, California area by providing music scholarships based on financial need, community service, and performance merit.

About the Foundation

The Foundation is also active in promoting musical excellence through events, the PPS Foundation Sheet Music Library, and supporting students that participate in competitions. The Foundation is proud to recognize and honor students who are deeply committed to the music making process and to sharing their gifts with others.

Need-based scholarships

are reserved exclusively for students from low-income families to help them continue music lessons, especially in the summer term.

The Denise Belisle Scholarship for Community Service

recognizes outstanding students who serve their community. This award is made possible thanks to the generous support of local business owner Denise Belisle.

Merit-based scholarships

are available for distinguished young performers of PPS who have demonstrated receipt of high honors in the Certificate of Merit® program and have placed in The United States Open Music Competition.
