About Shwu-Miin Tang
Shwu-Miin started taking piano lessons at age six, and was thrilled upon the completion of her last degree that she can finally be her own boss at interpreting any music.
She received a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Florida State University, MM from San Francisco Conservatory of Musi, and DMA from University of Texas at Austin. She has studied chamber music in Switzerland, appeared in solo recitals in Taiwan and performed with the UT Symphony orchestra. It wasn’t until the birth of her first child did Shwu-Miin realize that the road to attain the toughest degree on earth has just begun with no end in sight.
She enjoys teaching, accompanying, conducting, and singing in the church choir. In her spare time Shwu-miin loves papercrafting and sharing her creations with family and friends.
