About Hope Holder

Hope Holder earned her BM in Piano Performance at USU where she was on the staff of the Youth Conservatory and performed as the symphony pianist during the ‘92 and ‘93 Spring Seasons. She earned her MM at the University of Utah while teaching undergrad piano classes and serving as an assistant to Dr. Duehlmeier. Hope graduated as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was awarded one of two prizes for Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year in the state of Utah. Hope was an adjunct faculty member for 15 years at Westminster College, Utah.

A revered private teacher of over 40 years, Hope’s students have received recognition as outstanding performers in many competitions and festivals. She has watched with pride as her students have given solo recitals, performed with symphonies, and gone on to earn piano degrees themselves.

Hope has 2 daughters. The oldest attends S.J. Quinney School of Law with emphasis in white collar crime, prosecution. The youngest attends TXST majoring in Psychology with emphasis in forensics, minoring in anthropology and French. Hope and her husband love to cook, travel, kayak, and watch movies. They’re also fervent gardeners growing 50% of the food they eat.
