About Anastasia Chubb
Anastasia Chubb is a music educator and award-winning vocalist who teaches voice and piano to students of all ages and experience levels. She offers instruction in a variety of vocal styles, including classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, and contemporary music. She is passionate about helping each student develop healthy technique, confidence, and artistic expression! With experience in both private and classroom instruction, Anastasia creates individualized lessons that build strong musical foundations while nurturing creativity and a lifelong love of music.
Anastasia earned her Master’s Degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from the University of Miami (Frost School of Music) and her Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University. She is a five-time DownBeat Student Music Award recipient and was awarded the Ella Fitzgerald Scholarship for excellence in jazz performance.
As a performer, Anastasia has appeared with the Henry Mancini Orchestra alongside acclaimed artists including Pat Metheny, Patti Allen, and Lisa Fischer, and was selected to perform on the “Jazz of Tomorrow” stage at the South Beach Jazz Festival. She enjoys bringing her professional performance experience into the studio, helping students develop not only technical skills but also artistry, confidence, and a genuine love of music.
Whether students are preparing for auditions, performances, competitions, or simply learning for fun, Anastasia is committed to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every student can grow and thrive!
