About LYNN DONALD

Lynn has taught music lessons at North Fulton School of Music for over 20 years. She has a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Kent State University (cum laude) and an M.A. in Vocal Pedagogy from The Ohio State University. Lynn studied opera in Italy at La Scuola di Musica di Fiesole concluding with the honor to sing for Pope John Paul II. Lynn has been teaching for over 30 years starting her own private studio as a freshman in college. She taught in a multitude of schools and churches in Ohio while studying. Lynn has taught locally at Brimarsh Academy and Lyndon Academy (music teacher), Transfiguration Catholic Church as children’s choral director and Centennial High School as musical director for all musicals.
Currently, Lynn holds positions as head music instructor and vocal coach at North Fulton School of Music, music director at St. Catherine’s Episcopal and Allstate clinician at Roswell High School. Lynn Donald has had the privilege to prepare students that attend and have received music scholarships to Mercer, UGA, Berklee, FSU, Shorter, SCAD, NYU, Belmont, Elon and many others. On a personal note, Lynn has a husband, three children and three grandchildren.
