About Sebastien Neema
Music education has been one of the most transformative influences in my life. I began my musical journey on the alto saxophone in middle school band, later exploring guitar and other instruments. Before long, I discovered my true passion: the piano.
I started with group piano lessons, and after nearly every class I would stay behind to keep practicing. My teacher noticed my dedication and began spending extra time guiding me, helping me develop my technique and introducing me to music theory, something that was far beyond the scope of the class. Those early experiences shaped both my musicianship and my love for learning.
My passion for music eventually led me to study music composition in college, with a focus on film and game scoring, and in the process I’ve worked with a wide array of music technologies and computer softwares such as Protools. I was inspired by the powerful intersection of visual and musical storytelling and the emotional impact it can create.
I hope to pass on the same encouragement, curiosity, and joy that my teachers gave me. As an instructor, I aim to help each student discover their own musical voice while building strong foundations in technique, creativity, and confidence.
