About Danielé Oriti
Hi my name is Danielé Oriti. I have been drumming since the age of 7. My initial influences were classic rock like Zeppelin, but as I got into different aspects of drums and percussion, I started to develop my own voice on the instrument. I did drumline in high school (played tenors), jazz big band and even symphonic band. Since then, I have played gigs all over, worked with artists and even companies to record, produce and release original material for commercial use. Timekeeping is everything on this instrument and my goal is always to improve at my craft (yes, I’m always still learning!) I love teaching others and I find it so rewarding to see students improve every week.
My favorite album is Donny Hathaway Live. I don’t have a favorite drummer because there’s too many, but a good place for a beginner to start would be Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix Experience), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), and Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown).
