About Chelsea Kim
Graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Chelsea Kim is a trained classical pianist. A long-time student of virtuoso Eugene Masluk in Livermore, CA, Chelsea completed the Certificate of Merit Level 10 with honors. She then went on to the Panel Level, also placing as a NorCal Division Top Tier Nominee.
After being admitted to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music at 15 years of age, she competed in the Sylvia M. Ghiglieri Piano Competition and placed Honorable Mention. She has also competed in the Youth Focus Competition, being titled as the Grand Prize Winner.
Chelsea has extensive collaborative experience and has worked at Stanford University with Professor Mary Linduska voice students.
Chelsea has taught all ages from preschool-12th grade and offers instruction in baroque, classical, romantic, contemporary, and pop styles. She preps students for the ABRSM (international music exam) and competitions.
