About Tony Manoguerra
Anthony Manoguerra is a multi-instrumentalist, performer, and music educator. Primarily a drummer, he frequently collaborates with instrumentalists and vocalists in the Northern Colorado region.
Anthony has performed at popular Denver jazz venues such as Dazzle and Nocturne, as well as many other venues across the front range. A member of several local bands and singer-songwriter projects, including The Spicy Pickles and Front Range Revival, Anthony often doubles on vocals or violin.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, Anthony received his BA in Music Performance from Whitworth University. A resident of Colorado since 2023, Anthony also received his Master’s in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. During his time as a Master’s student, Anthony was a member of UNC’s flagship large ensemble, the Compass Jazz Orchestra, as well as their top small ensemble, both of which performed and collaborated with Grammy-winning artists.
Outside of the jazz genre, Anthony has participated in a diverse of set of musical contexts, including folk, country, and rock shows, performances with the Spokane Symphony, traveling Broadway productions such as Hadestown, and as a violinist for local weddings and other events.
Anthony’s continued participation in the Denver music scene and abroad involves local shows, recording projects, and touring.
