About Kaitlyn Williams
Kaitlyn Williams is an award winning singer and songwriter based out of Denver, CO. She is a classically trained musician having graduated from the highly renowned Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (under the direction of Dr. David Baker). Kaitlyn was a Jazz Studies major with a concentration in voice and was previously under the tutelage of Teresa Kubiak, world-renowned Metropolitan Opera star. She has performed alongside artists including Bobby McFerrin, Kurt Elling, John Clayton, Darmon Meader, Kate McGarry, Sunny Wilkinson, and Janis Siegel of The Manhattan Transfer. Recently, Kaitlyn was awarded the 2017 Collegiate Vocal Jazz Soloist Winner from Downbeat Magazine. She was also a member of the Downbeat Award Winning Collegiate Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble I for two years at the Jacobs School of Music.
