About Elidi Clark

Elidi Clark is a violist originally from San Diego, California now based in Denver, Colorado. Elidi has performed with numerous ensembles in a wide range of musical styles and settings, including symphony orchestra, opera, musical theatre, chamber ensembles, and modern music ensembles. These opportunities have led her to perform on stages around the United States with a number of notable groups, most recently including the Boulder Chorale, Lamont Symphony Orchestra, and the Sewanee Festival Orchestra. Elidi has studied with many accomplished chamber, solo, and orchestral musicians, including Angela Choong of the Haussman Quartet, Hillary Herndon, and Ezgi Pikayzen. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Music in Viola Performance with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Denver under the tutelage of Basil Vendryes, principal violist of the Colorado Symphony.

Elidi began her musical journey at age six with the piano. At age eight, she transitioned her focus to viola. During her time in high school, she discovered her passion for teaching as a teacher’s assistant for the middle school strings program at Francis Parker School. She primarily teaches violin and viola. In her studio, she strives to support each of her students’ individual development as young musicians, both technically in their instrument and in their musical knowledge and interpretation, and enjoys watching her students grow and find their musical voice.
