Perform on Broadway! June 2020

Start spreading the news— you’re going to Broadway with Neighborhood Children’s Theatre. Be a part of it all; attend workshops led by some of Broadway’s biggest star choreographers, musical directors, and actors all while giving back. Perform selections from The Sound of Music in a thrilling finale Arts for Autism benefit concert in June 2020 alongside stage favorites, such as past performers Christopher Jackson (Hamilton), Kelli O’Hara (The King and I), Teal Wicks (Finding Neverland), and Adam Jacobs (Aladdin). You will receive bi-monthly group mentoring in rehearsals from September ‘19 -May ’20 to prepare for your stage debut at the Gershwin Theater in New York.

This four day adventure also gives you the opportunity to soak in all the sights and sounds the Big Apple has to offer. Sightseeing tours include top destinations, such as the Top of the Rock, Radio City Music Hall, and much more! Additionally, you will see a popular Broadway show.

Auditions
August 24-25, 11:00 AM-12:30 PM
Students will sign up for a solo 5 minute slot. Students should be prepared to perform 16 bars of a song and provide the track for audition.

Rehearsals
September-May, Sunday afternoons twice a month

Optional Concert: Denver, CO
May 2020
Students have the option of performing a send-off concert in Denver May 2020 in addition to the June 2020 performance in New York City.

Finale Concert  Arts for Autism: New York, NY
June 2020
Our landmark New York City tour ends at the historic Gershwin theater. Students will perform on stage with a cast of more than 25 Broadway actors in an Arts for Autism benefit concert.

TOUR INCLUDES:

• A Broadway show including a meet and greet with the artists
• 90 Minute Individual Rehearsal/Workshop Session
• Two additional rehearsal sessions with Broadway choreographers and music directors
• Ticket to a Broadway show in the theater where you will perform
