Artist Live! Rock Band Summer Program
Join Artist Live: Rock Band Summer Program 2026 at Needham Music and experience what it’s like to be in a real band! This immersive, two week-long program runs Monday through Friday from 10am–2pm, where students collaborate, rehearse, and develop their skills across instruments like guitar, bass, drums, voice, piano, and more.
Led by an experienced live performer, students will build confidence, improve musicianship, and prepare for an exciting full-band concert on August 2. Whether you’re looking to level up your playing or perform on stage, Artist Live is the ultimate summer experience for young musicians ready to rock.
Tuition is $1,000 per student, with flexible payment plans available—just contact us to set one up.
Musical Theater Intensive Summer Program
Step into the spotlight this summer at Needham Music’s Musical Theater Intensive! Students will build confidence on stage while exploring acting, singing, movement, and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment led by classically trained piano and vocal instructor Reed Demangone. Over two exciting weeks, performers will collaborate, grow their artistry, and prepare for a final showcase performance on August 15th. Whether your child dreams of Broadway or simply loves to perform, this intensive is the perfect place to shine this summer!
Intro to Music Theory

Build a stronger musical foundation this summer with Needham Music’s Intro to Music Theory course! Led by brass instructor and theory expert Dr. Kevin Virgilio, DMA, this engaging program introduces students to the fundamentals of reading, understanding, and analyzing music in a supportive, approachable environment. Perfect for curious musicians looking to deepen their skills or prepare for AP Music Theory, students will strengthen their musical confidence while gaining tools that support performance, composition, and overall musicianship.

Liam has been playing guitar for over a decade. In 2018, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Guitar Performance.

Reed Demangone is an internationally recognized countertenor and teacher from Pittsburgh, PA who loves to push the envelope of what is expected from a classical singer, and constantly seeks to go outside the box.
