
About Liam Lacey
An educator with nearly a decade of experience, hornist Liam Lacey maintains a private studio focused on developing students’ broader academic minds through the lens of music theory and history, while also developing their technical skills as musicians and artists. He has also given masterclasses and served as a horn coach for many middle schools and high schools in both in-person and fully online capacities.
Recent professional appearances include the New Bedford Symphony, Cape Symphony, the Plymouth Philharmonic, and as solo horn with the Cantata Singers. Originally from Los Angeles, he has also performed and recorded with the Southern California Brass Consortium, the Los Angeles Dream Orchestra, and the Santa Monica Symphony, among others.
Liam earned his Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and his Bachelor of Music from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB. He has studied with Annie Bosler, Justin Hageman, Dylan Hart, David Jolley, John Mason, and Ramon Villanueva.
