About Kevin Martinez
Kevin Martinez began learning the piano in 2010 and received his degree in piano performance in 2016, the same year he started teaching at the Natomas School of Music. He has traveled to Europe, twice, for piano competitions and lessons. He is currently on the MusicTeachers’ Association of California Board, Sacramento Branch.
Before music, Kevin was a physicist and computer programmer, he uses the math concepts he learned to teach music as a hybrid of mathematics and art. Some of his students have gone onto receive degrees in piano performance in New York, and many of them have received scholarships and honors for their performances around the world.
