About Austin Blanchard
Austin Blanchard has been teaching for 12 years, ten of which he’s taught at Natomas School of Music. He’s been a performer for 20 years to which he’s played car shows, sponsored events, etc. When he’s not teaching, he’s playing in a cover band, a recording artist at local studios, running open mics, and is a professional stagehand at Thunder Valley and other production companies. Driven to teach people the love and understanding of his life’s passion, he’ll give you a personalized experience where you’ll learn all the theory and nuances that pertain to your interests as a budding musician. He teaches band, guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, and vocals.
As far as genres go, he’s got you covered, he is good at anything from jazz to metal and everything in between. Mr. Blanchard tries to bring a little extra to the experience by getting any willing and wanting students to participate at his open mics, which makes for many opportunities to grow on stage.
