About Matt Moore
Matt Moore is an enthusiastic, multi-instrumentalist teacher with over twenty years of experience helping students of all ages discover how fun music can be. He teaches/plays piano, guitar, electric bass, ukulele, drums, saxophone, flute, clarinet, and harmonica. After attending the University of North Texas, he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and a Minor in Music Theory. Over the years he’s played with various groups and has opened for acts such as Fastball, Robert Glasper, and Victor Wooten.
Lessons with Matt are catered to the personality of each of his students. He has a background in growing students’ excitement about music through teaching them tunes (their favorites and his), technique, theory, history, and all proficiencies related to organizing sound. Whether you’re a total beginner or an advanced player looking to refine your skills, Matt provides a patient, encouraging environment to help you reach your goals.
