About Kyle Foley
Kyle Foley is a multi-instrumentalist based in Austin, Texas. He has been playing music since early childhood when he started playing piano. His true love for music came in high school when he switched from violin to double bass in the high school orchestra. His grandfather bought him an electric bass starter pack soon after and the rest, as they say, is history.
In late 2006, Kyle moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue music further and played in many different bands including Murphy’s Outlaws and Made in America and participated in several different recording sessions during his six-year stay. In late 2012 he moved to his current home of Austin, Texas to pursue music further.
During his current tenure in Austin, Kyle has continued to play with several different bands including the blues-rock band Zottos with whom he also recorded, and his solo project Stray Arrows which is a collection of hard-rock songs he has written over the years. In early 2017, Kyle started teaching guitar and bass privately for a friends child and Kyle loved it. Since then, on top of his continued musical projects, Kyle has started teaching full-time.
