Joshua’s musical journey began early. By middle school, he was fully immersed in band, chamber ensembles, and theatre productions. Over the past 18+ years, he has performed in concert halls, collaborated on recordings, and led numerous ensembles, including memorable appearances at Carnegie Hall and performances at the National Cathedral. Alongside performing, he has built 17+ years of teaching experience, guiding students of all ages and skill levels.
He teaches piano, guitar, voice, brass, bass, and other string and wind instruments, as well as songwriting, music theory, and recording/production. He tailors lessons to each student’s style, goals, and pace, helping beginners build a strong foundation while challenging advanced students to reach their performance goals. Every lesson is structured, motivating, and fun.
Beyond private lessons, Joshua directs community ensembles, runs music workshops and camps, and mentors hundreds of students, helping them grow into skilled, confident, and creative musicians.
