About Glenn Rexach
Glenn Rexach has been a mainstay of the Austin music scene since 1984, and many of his former students are now highly respected and in demand (including one Grammy winner!).
Born in Texas, his innate musical curiosity has had him play everything from straight up rock-n-roll, to funk, blues, jazz, country, Latin, and a plethora of other diverse musical styles, giving his students a wide lens approach to mastering the guitar and having it become an extension of their musical personality.
He is also knows how to teach fingerpicking.
In addition to teaching, Glenn performs in a variety of different groups, including the Austin Jazz Workshop, the Jacqui Walker Band, Darrell Goldman, Tomas Ramirez, as well as being an in demand free-lancer and studio musician. He also leads his own high powered jazz-funk trio the Glenn Rexach Group, which currently has two recordings out, Living Joe to Joe and PanaRican.
Rexach’s love of music and sharing his knowledge with others has been an ongoing passion of his for over 40 years. Let him help you and your loved ones play music!
