About

I teach percussion across all genres, ages, and skill levels. My students range from junior high and high school musicians to university players and advanced adults. I also work closely with beginners and self taught musicians who want clear direction, steady growth, and confidence behind the instrument.

I began playing percussion at the age of five and continued through school and college percussion programs. I earned a four-year scholarship to Berklee College of Music, completed a Dual Major BM in Music Composition and Performance in Percussion Studies at the University of Houston, and later earned a Master of Arts in Music At Hope International University in Fullerton, California.

Over the years, I have worked in live productions, studio recording sessions, music arranging and compositions, and copyright publishing arenas. I have taught in multiple Texas school districts and college universities, serve as a Promark Drumsticks designer, tester, and district representative, and endorsee educator for Yamaha Music, D’Addario, and Shure Microphones. I currently serve as a percussion instructor for Leander ISD in Leander, Texas.
