In addition to guitar, violin, voice, ukulele, keyboard; Benji also teaches music theory, songwriting, and audio production! He started off on violin at age 10 and then wanted to know more and more from there! This is Benji’s 11th year of teaching music lessons and he claims he teaches with a “research based approach.” Benji loves hit songs. Period. Old and new, blues or pop, folk or rock. That’s why he started his band City of Decades which used to be a rock band, then became an indie duo. He also has a solo project under the name Benji Lamar showing off more of a modern pop side. All of this inspires him to teach the craft of songwriting and audio production as well and help guide you on your musical journey anywhere you wish to go!
