About Andrew McNair
Andrew began his musical career after college as a high school choir director. His choirs consistently earned Sweepstakes ratings at UIL Concert and Sight Reading and at the Texas Madrigal and Chamber Choir Festival. He has built a successful private voice studio that includes All-State Choir members, future musicians, educators, and scholars. Andrew is constantly inspired by the opportunity to teach these amazing human beings.
A self-taught keyboardist, Andrew serves as the pianist and organist for the First Lutheran Church of San Marcos. He maintains his love of choral music through performances with The Purgatory Creek Chorale and The San Antonio Chamber Choir and can be found accompanying and coaching singers of all ages around Central Texas.
Andrew is a proud alumnus of Texas State University (San Marcos, Texas) where he received a Bachelor of Music Studies magna cum laude with a minor in Honors Studies. He also holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Simpson College (Indianola, Iowa).
