About A.J. Vincent
A.J. Vincent is an international touring musician, producer, keyboardist, vocalist, and DJ. He plays keyboards and sings in the band …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, and he is the creator of the EDM act Party Wolfe.
A.J. was previously in Scorpion Child, The Bright Light Social Hour, and The Matt Gilmour Band. A.J. won “Best Keyboards of Austin” twice at the Austin Chronicle’s Austin Music Awards during SXSW, and he has toured all over the US, UK, Europe, and Canada.
A.J. took classical piano lessons from 5-12 years old, then he moved into rock music lessons and rock bands after that. He started writing music at 15, and began playing around Austin at 17.
A.J.’s teaching style is a hybrid of classical piano technique and approach, mixed with real-world use of piano such as being on stage with a rock band. A.J. teaches a large variety of subjects such as piano, singing, classic keyboards like rhodes and organ, synthesizer, songwriting, sight-reading, charting, playing live on stage, Ableton Live, EDM production, DMX lighting, and more.
