We Emphasize Healthy Technique
Healthy technique is critical to lifelong enjoyment of the music production. Our first priority is teaching music is both creative and technical. The creative aspect is coming up an idea, lyrics, and composing. The technical side is the process includes the right apps and software like Logic PRO, Pro Tools and Abeleton LIVE for recording and beats.
Once the fundamentals are in place, you and your teacher can craft the story you want your music to tell. Our qualified teachers will assist you in developing musicianship creating a stage for the singer, DJ, or a band.

The minimum age we recommend a student start piano lessons at The Musicians Woodshed is 10 years old. For younger students, we recommend an intro to the music program. So, some students may need to wait longer than others to start. Contact us and we can help determine if you are is ready to start!

A simple electronic keyboard with a minimum of 61 keys will suffice for the first 6 months. No. You do not need a your on laptop or software to start music production lessons, however, we do recommend having a a home laptop, tablet or computer in your home to practice between lessons.
