About Lidija Kutlesa

Lidija Kutlesa has her Bachelor’s degree in Music Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. A few of her performance roles include Dorabella, in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte and Hanna Wilson in Richard Wargo’s Ballymore: Act II Losers. She has performed under the baton of Maestro Kirk Trevor, Maestro Ken Lam, and Dr. Scott Ferguson.

Her goal in teaching is to bring the joy of music into as many lives as she can while building confidence in her students. Lidija also has experience with vocal coaching such as inflection, projection, expression. She is absolutely crazy about musical theater and loves to work with acting. Anything that screams Broadway, screams Lidija’s name! Lidija also works with classical pieces such as Italian, German, and French, art songs and arias.

Lidija’s philosophy is, confidence as a musician seeps into every aspect of one’s life and allows you to believe you can do anything! Having a safe space where creativity and imagination thrive empowers one to grow in all walks of life; whether that be in the classroom, on stage, personal, and/or business life.

In her free time you can find her shopping, at the gym, or at the nearest coffee shop. She loves to curl up with a good book on rainy days and weekly family movie nights are never missed! Lidija will never miss an opportunity to try a new yoga or pilates class as the mind and body should be strengthened and grow as one.
