About Ariah

Ariah Deason began playing the violin at the age of 5 when she started at the STELR Suzuki violin program at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra from the ages of eleven to eighteen where she served as assistant concertmaster and concertmaster of the various orchestra levels. Ariah has participated in the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee, the Summa Cum Laude International Music Festival in Europe, and performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. She graduated from Rollins College where she was concertmaster of the Rollins Orchestra, maintained a 4.0 GPA, and is a member of multiple honors societies including Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Kappa Lambda, and Alpha Sigma Lambda. During her time at Rollins, Ariah participated in the Bach Festival Orchestra’s performances of pieces such as Carmina Burana with Orlando Ballet, Mahler’s Symphony no. 1, and Haydn’s “The Creation.”
