About Sage Mitchell-Sparke

Sage Mitchell-Sparke is a violinist, violist, and pianist. Having played the violin since she was five, Sage grew up surrounded by music enthusiasts, performing concerts for her grandparents. She has taken lessons at Oberlin Conservatory while getting her BA at Oberlin College. Her favorite concerto is the Barber Concerto. She is a strong proponent of the Suzuki method, practicing daily, mastering sight-reading—especially when it comes to rhythm, and conquering stage-fright. Sage wants to foster a love of music in her students; the most important thing is they are having fun.
