Playing and listening to music has so many benefits! Jaylin Conner, Middle C Music instructor, told Fox 5 Morning News all about the mental and personal benefits that music education brings. 

“It incorporates math, science, and communicative skills to push you as a person in many different ways,” Jaylin told Fox 5. Learning an instrument can even help earn future scholarships! Auditioning for a band or orchestra teaches you the process of studying and preparing, and whether you make the group or not, the audition process helps you grow as a musician and a performer.
