Greta Carlson stopped by and favored us with a surprising version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on the Recording King resonator guitar.
Andrew Price (l) & Jalen Tate (r), students at Duke Ellington School for the Arts, stopped by, sat down at our Roland digital pianos, and went off on a mind-boggling musical journey.
Matti Michalschek of Berlin-based urban soul band Somebody Else, stopped by to play with our new effects pedal display.
Shanise Young delighted us with an impromptu rendition of Vance Joy’s “Riptide.”
Jose Alvarenga, from Encarnacion, Paraguay, stopped by to dazzle everyone with his amazing guitar chops.
The Folklords stopped by last week and favored us with a tune. We meant to post this video sooner, because the duo — Brian Gormley and Mike O’Malley (on bouzouki) — were at RiRa in Georgetown all week. So apologies, guys.
