Esther Haynes’ New Album Is Out!

Middle C’s award-winning guitar and vocal teacher Esther Haynes has a new album out, Wilder on the Water. The record is a tribute to composer Alec Wilder, who contributed to what is now known as the Great American Songbook. The title refers to the fact that the music was recorded on Cape Cod.

Esther partners with Massachusetts-based jazz guitarist John Dirac for a collection of vibrant and tasteful takes on such classics as While We’re Young, It’s So Peaceful in the Country, the Rodgers and Hart classic, There’s a Small Hotel, and many others.
