About Xiaolin Chen
Xiaolin Chen, born in Guangzhou, China, has been playing piano for over 20 years. A pianist with a love for performing, Xiaolin constantly strives to bring her best so that she may pass that knowledge and experience down to her students. She has played for Hans Boepple (renowned pedagogue and soloist), performed at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, and traveled to Korea in her teen years as a soloist.
A dedicated educator, Xiaolin aspires to be a positive role model for each of her students so that she may motivate, awaken and inspire them to be their very best. She believes learning music is the key to bringing people happiness and broadening their horizons.
Xiaolin started her higher education at South China Normal University and Completed her Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance at California State University, East Bay. While she’s not teaching or playing piano, she likes to travel, exercise, and eat delicious food.
