About Susan Wu
Susan completed her Bachelor of Music degree in Taiwan with a Violin performance major and a Piano performance minor and earned her Master of Music degree from San Francisco State University.
She has experience teaching both violin and piano lesson and developed organizational teaching methods to guide students with their practical goals.
In her undergraduate studies, she took pedagogy classes. As a part of her pedagogy classes, she designed a class for young children and taught kindergarten students. This experience helped her develop her teaching style, and it gave her a better sense of how to inspire the student’s interest of music. Afterwards, she started to teach private piano and violin lesson combining the knowledge which she learned from the course and experiences.
In addition, she has assisted the high school musicals demonstrating the instrument parts and guiding them to practice efficiently.
She also has long-term experiences of learning music. As a performer, she performs in different countries and different festivals and was the concertmaster in orchestras before. As a music teacher, she continues to expand her knowledge in both her own lifelong journey of learning music as well as sharing her knowledge with students of all ages.
