About Sophia Noguera
Sophia Noguera began her musical journey at age 8 with voice lessons, and by age 11 she began classical training in opera. Over the years, she has performed in a wide range of ensembles, including honor choirs, chamber choirs, and other vocal groups, which have helped her develop both as a soloist and as an ensemble musician.
In addition to her extensive vocal training, Ms. Sophia is a dedicated and versatile music instructor. She has extensive experience teaching piano (beginning through advanced), violin and viola (beginning through intermediate), and voice (beginning through advanced). She is passionate about making music accessible to all learners and has worked with students of all ages and abilities, including those with special needs. Her patient and encouraging teaching style helps students grow not only in their musical skills but also in their confidence and love of learning.
Currently, Ms. Sophia is pursuing a BA in Vocal Performance at San José State University (SJSU), where she continues to refine her artistry while sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of musicians.
