About Nichole Boaz
Nichole Boaz is a graduate of San José State University, where she received both her B.M. and M.A. in Jazz Studies. She’s lived and worked in the South Bay Area for over a decade, teaching classical and jazz piano to students ranging in age from preschool to post-retirement. In the past, she’s taught at West Valley College and San José State University.
From 2022-2024, Nichole worked at Ubisoft, transcribing music for the music education game Rocksmith+.
Nichole is a founding member of 7th Street Big Band, and has performed with them at the San José Jazz Festival, MAGWest, and many venues across the South Bay.
