About Matthew Insco
Matthew has been teaching guitar and music for 14 years and has been a performing guitarist for over 20 years. He performs a solo set of classical guitar for weddings, private events and parties, as well as with groups performing Bossa Nova/Jazz .
Matthew studied classical guitar at Columbia College Chicago as well as playing in their Latin Music Ensemble. He starting taking private guitar lessons at 13 and studied privately all through high school as well as playing in his high school jazz band. While also performing as an electric guitarist in rock bands as a teenager, today he continues to play electric guitar in modern bands in the styles of pop, soul, and funk.
Matthew moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to further pursue music by working as a studio musician, music producer and music instructor. While studying music production there, he was lucky enough to learn with a Grammy Winning Music Producer, and continued working with him to complete some of his original compositions. Matthew continues to release his own music as well as collaborating and working with other musicians and singer/songwriters to create and release original music.
