About Maleli Raiyawa
Maleli Raiyawa studied and worked in New York City as an actor and musician. A band kid all his life, he has trained privately for years under a classically trained opera singer. He has performed extensively in professional regional theater across the Bay Area, working in musical theater styles ranging from classic Broadway to contemporary pop-rock.
As a vocal coach, he draws from both his formal training and his years of experience as a working performer. He focuses on building strong technical fundamentals while keeping lessons grounded in what each student actually wants to do with their voice — whether that’s musical theater, contemporary, or classical repertoire.
Outside of teaching, Maleli continues to perform and create as an independent theater maker and musician in the Bay Area.
