About Dora Fung
Dora Fung began her piano journey at the age of four. She later attended the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in International Business while continuing to develop her musical interests. During high school, Dora completed ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory, and she went on to achieve ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano last year while working full-time, demonstrating both her strong musicianship and dedication.
Throughout her musical journey, Dora has cultivated a deep passion for music. She participated in the IB Program in high school, where she chose music as one of her electives, further strengthening her understanding and appreciation of the art. She has extensive performance experience, having participated in numerous recitals, competitions, and large-stage performances in front of wide audiences.
In addition to her instrumental background, Dora served as a choir team leader during the final two years of high school, where she developed leadership skills and a collaborative approach to music-making.
Alongside her musical pursuits, Dora currently works full-time in trade finance at a wholesale bank. She brings a strong sense of discipline, organization, and professionalism to her teaching, while continuing to nurture her lifelong passion for music.
