Music Explorers fosters children’s social and emotional growth through whimsical song and playful exploration

Music Explorers is a unique Early Childhood Music program that focuses on the whole child, laying the foundations not only musically, but mentally, emotionally, and physically. Based on the National Standards for Music Education, Music Explorers provides students with an opportunity to develop beginning music skills all while encouraging a child’s confidence and self-expression.

I-Chen Su

I chen Su - Piano, Violin & Viola Teacher

I-Chen Su is a native of Taiwan, and has been teaching at Melody Academy of Music since 2014. She received her BA in Music from Tainan National University of the Arts, MM in Viola Performance from Mannes School of Music, and MFA in Music Production and Sound Design for Visual Media from Academy of Art University. She has had more than 26 years of experience, including 16 years of teaching piano, violin, and viola in English and Mandarin. In addition to teaching, she has performed in various venues, including the Flint Center for Performing Arts, Shanghai Concert Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall.

Nyana Ross

Nyana Ross - Violin, Cello, Guitar, Piano Teacher

Nyana Ross has played violin since she was 8 years old. She also plays cello, guitar, piano, and many more instruments. She has performed on many stages at music festivals, concerts, and recitals. She has been playing with various orchestras since 2015 and I’ve even played at Nationals with her orchestra in 2018 and won second place. She is a child music prodigy and and is currently starting her second year of college as a music major.

Thursday – 10:30 am – 11:15 am in Cupertino
Saturday – 11:15 am – 12:00 pm in Palo Alto

Cost : $280 per unit (Each unit is 8 classes)
