About Sophie Bestul
Hi,my name is Sophie Bestul! Starting at age five, I began taking private piano lessons and have continued to do so for twelve years. When I turned eleven, I decided to take viola lessons, as well. Recently, I have picked up on playing the organ and enjoy accompanying the singing congregation at my church. Additionally, I like to spend my spare time improving my music theory skills and writing/arranging music. The past two years, I have enjoyed performing in Elgin Community College’s piano concert The American Grands. I can’t wait to share the joy of playing the piano with my students.
