About Dana Bellew
Dana studied music education at Illinois State University and received her BA in Performing Arts Management from Columbia College in Chicago. In addition, she received her BM in Music Education in 2013 and also holds a K-12 Teaching License with a Music Content Endorsement. Dana did her student teaching at John Shields Elementary School in Sugar Grove where she worked with 6th – 8th grade string orchestras and taught small group lessons on violin, viola, and bass. She has also done clinical teaching for string orchestra at Yorkville High School, Haines Middle School, Huntley Middle School, and the Garage Orchestra Summer Program.
